Decide the stop before the first bet

Nobody under 18, at any hour
An account belongs to one adult. Nobody under 18 may register a boda8 account or play on one, we can ask for proof of age at any point, and an account found to belong to a minor is closed. If a phone or a laptop is shared with children, sign out when your session ends instead of leaving it open, and software such as Net Nanny or Qustodio blocks gambling sites on a shared device for the hours it is set for.

How old do I have to be?
Proof of age can be asked for at any point. The floor is 18, both for opening the account and for playing, and an account that turns out to belong to somebody younger gets closed.
How quickly does a limit apply?
A new limit, or a lower one, takes hold the moment the team sets it. Raising one later is deliberately slower, so a number chosen in a calm hour cannot be undone in a bad one.
How long does a cooling-off last?
You name the length, and most people pick somewhere between three days and a month. It starts the moment it is set, runs to the end without needing anything further from you, and lifts by itself on the date it expires.
How long does self-exclusion run?
Six months at minimum, longer if you ask. It cannot be lifted early, and that is the point of it: the decision gets made once, in advance, and the clock does the rest.
